Red Hat & IDC Keynote - Operationalising AIOps: Building a Future-Proof Foundation with Multimode Automation

Agentic AI is driving a profound, structural shift in IT operations, moving beyond simple intelligence to effectively collapse the control plane. After years of tool sprawl, we are finally seeing a unification of management layers across cloud and on-prem environments through AI-driven, policy-based automation. IDC research highlights this shift, with 69% of early adopters expecting intelligent infrastructure to reduce tool complexity.

This joint keynote by IDC and Red Hat will move beyond the hype to show how multi-mode automation operationalises AIOps. Learn to match task-based, event-driven, and agentic automation to specific challenges, transitioning your teams from manual remediation to governed, strategic orchestration. We will explore:

  • The true place of Agentic AI in IT operations—when it is, the right solution
  • The critical success factors for adopting Agentic AI, with a focus on governance and compliance
  • How mastering multi-mode automation empowers you to reliably act on observability, solve novel problems, and build the foundation for 2026–2030 infrastructure strategies

Join us to understand how to orchestrate these advanced capabilities for maximum business impact and clearly measure the ROI of your automation journey.

Ansible Automation Platform Roadmap: What's new and coming a pragmatic guide for technical practitioners

Since modernising AWX and releasing AAP 2.6 in October, Red Hat has continued to release AAP in faster cadences, with new builds created every two weeks containing CVEs, bugfixes, QoL, RFEs and new functionalities behind feature flags.

This talk will present both short and long-term AAP roadmap features, and offer a pragmatic guide on how to manage AAP’s lifecycle, and feature flag new releases into production based on real-world customer implementations.

Track ATrack B
Core-to-Edge // day-2 NetWork Ops: Cisco and AAP Unlocking Intelligent Ticket Enrichment - Agentic AI + MCP
Modern NetWork environments and connected systems are becoming even more complex, interconnected and vast. While deploying these systems and all their requirements has challenges, day-2 is where we really experience the highest toil and burden. Cisco and AAP together deliver day-0 through day-2 benefits that now include not only Fabric but also Compute systems and all their associated EcoSystems.
Come and see how you can utilise the NetOps Cisco + AAP story as a 'better together' capability (including Event Driven Ansible) in your environment to deliver that day-2 relief.

Speakers
Stu Bernstein, Red Hat
Frederick Son, Red Hat
Every minute spent manually triaging and enriching IT tickets is a minute your teams aren't solving problems. Incomplete tickets lead to misrouted incidents, repeated escalations, and slower resolution — all of which directly impact service quality and end-user experience.
In this session, we'll show how Agentic AI powered by the Model Context Protocol (MCP) brings intelligent reasoning to ticket enrichment — while Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) serves as the trusted execution backbone that makes it real, reliable, and enterprise-ready.
Walk away with a practical, repeatable pattern where Agentic AI brings the intelligence and AAP brings the trust — ready to apply in your organisation immediately.

Track ATrack B
Supercharge OpenShift Virtualization Journey with AAP - Day 0, Day 1, Day 2From manual to minimal - Journey to Autonomous networks with AAP
Organisations are modernising virtualization by moving from traditional hypervisors to OpenShift Virtualization. Without automation, this shift still leads to manual toil, inconsistent provisioning, and unscalable operations.

Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) closes this gap. Together, AAP and OpenShift Virtualization provide a modern virtualization platform and the automation needed to build, migrate, and operate at scale from day one.

This session covers the full lifecycle:
Day 0(Plan & Provision): Automate cluster setup, networking, storage, and VM templates.
Day 1(Migrate & Deploy): Orchestrate large-scale VM migrations, enforce configurations, and integrate with ITSM/CI/CD.
Day 2(Operate & Scale): Enable patching, compliance, lifecycle management, and scaling via governed, repeatable automation.

Speakers

Wayne Dovey, Red Hat
One of Australia's largest Tier-1 telcos, is on a mission to reach Level 4 Autonomous Network operations.
In this session, Telstra shares their journey firsthand: their initial steps on this journey, how they took event-driven automation from concept to production, and how they eliminated manual effort by automating network related use cases.
You'll see the architecture behind their use case, the lessons learned along the way, and the cross-domain autonomy roadmap that will take them to L4 and beyond.

Network AI-Tomation The Business of Automation: Governance, Visibility, and Measurable Impact
Although the CLI on our favorite routers and switches hasn't changed much since the day we passed our CCNA and JNCIA, how we interact with our networks has transformed dramatically. We’ve evolved from basic SNMP, through the era of Perl, Bash, and Python scripting, into the declarative world of Ansible, and now into the brave new world of AI-driven automation.
Let's dive into the evolution of network automation—exploring our past, examining the present, and catching a glimpse of the future.
